Joyce (KATHLEEN QUINLAN) and Maya (YONA ELIAN) are strangers with the same quest: to find their husbands, missing in action after the bloody Yom Kippur War. The women meet when they both identify the same man as their husband from blurred TV film of prisoners. Despite very conflicting personal interests, the need to discover the man’s identity draws them together. Their hostility turns to mutual affection as they search for clues – but they know only one of them can be successful. And the other is almost certainly a war widow…
