Henrietta (Barbra Streisand), loving wife of Pete (Michael Sarrazin), takes out a $3,000 loan to help make them some money. However, she tells him it’s from a rich uncle rather than a loanshark.
When she can’t pay back the money, Henrietta tries to earn it, and the real craziness begins in this freewheeling and frantic comedy. The cops chase the villains, the villains chase Henrietta, and Henrietta „cops” everything… for Pete’s sake!
