Beaten up, branded with a 'T’ and robbed of his $17,000 life savings, Jonas Trapp wants
revenge. Rugged buffalo hunter Jonas (Chuck Connors) drags himself to town to confront his attackers. On arrival, he learns that Jessie, the bride he left behind 11 years before, believes him dead and plans to marry banker Brooks Durham. Johnsy Boy Hood (Bill Bixby) – a sadistic dandy – and Elwood Coates (Claude Akins) deny stealing the money. Coates suspects Durham (Michael Rennie) and demands his share. And so the scene is set for what the locals will come to call the night of the reprisals…
