A U.S. chopper
crew waiting to be air-lifted back to safety from the Viet Cong territory are ordered by their commander (Newport) to recover secret papers from a downed ARVN helicopter. The papers turn out to be gold ingost hidden in boxes. The steely Ranger Alan Hart and his two pals battle back all adversities, and a trap set by Newport, to defend what has become „their“ gold.
